Lashlifting: why technique, products and training make the difference
Lashlifting is more than just 'curling' your natural lashes. It is a profession. And just like any other profession, success lies in the details. The right materials, the right technique and the right knowledge. At Oh My Lash we believe that a perfect lift starts with a well-trained stylist who knows what she is doing and who knows what her client needs.
Not every lash is the same, and neither is your approach
Every client is unique and that also applies to her lashes. One has short, stiff lashes, the other has long, flexible hairs. That is why it is so important not to always use the same size shield with every client.
A shield determines the curl and the final look. If you choose a shield that is too big or too small, the curl will not come into its own. Or even worse: the lift will fall flat.
That's why a good lash check in between is also essential. With the lash check you can see in between if lotion 1 has been working long enough. That way you can see if the lashes are ready for step 2.

The lotions you use for a lash lift are powerful and work deeply into the structure of the lashes. That is why it is important to always work with high-quality products, tailored to different lash types.
