Zoë: 'From dream to reality: my journey in the beauty world'
Hi, my name is Zoë! In this blog I will take you along in my story: how I started, what my passion is and what dreams and goals I have for the future.
Beauty was instilled in me from birth
As the daughter of Sandra, the CEO & founder of Oh My Lash, beauty has been instilled in me from an early age. From a young age, I was fascinated by the world in which my mother worked. When she had nail clients in our shed at home, I sat next to her as a little girl. I watched her curiously and full of admiration.
When I was 15, I got the chance to do an internship at Wimperextensions Zwolle. Although I loved the world of eyelashes, I soon felt that my real passion was eyebrows. I was allowed to follow my first eyebrow training, and from that moment on I knew for sure: eyebrows are totally my thing!
From working in the salon to my own brand
Besides my work at Oh My Lash in the salon, wholesale and as a trainer, I had a big dream: to set up my own brand. Just like my mother, to set up a successful beauty brand, but then focused on eyebrows.
In June 2021, that dream became reality with the launch of ZOËS. Cosmetics, a webshop specialized in eyebrow cosmetics. My very first product? The now well-known ZOËS. Brow Jam!
After years of testing, perfecting and designing, I released my next big project in 2024: ZOËS. Professionals, an exclusive line for professionals.
My goals for 2025
Many of the goals I had when I was 15, I have proudly achieved. But those who know me, know that I never sit still and entrepreneurship is in my blood. This year I want to achieve much more:
- Developing an extensive training with my own brand (almost finished!)
- Setting up collaborations with different trainers
- Launching a lot of new products
- Conquering Europe with ZOËS. & Oh My Lash!
- Making people happy every day with beautiful eyebrows, new knowledge and high-quality products
Gratitude & Pride
Every day I work with so much passion on my dreams and I am incredibly grateful that I was able to turn my hobby into my job.

I have seen first hand how hard you have worked, how you have taken Oh My Lash from a small shed to a successful top company. You are my role model.
And for you: I hope that with my story I have been able to motivate you to also pursue your dreams. Everything is possible if you go for it! You got this!
